Trekking Alerce Andino National Park

Early in the morning a private transfer leads us towards the Andeans mountain range passing Puerto Montt City. From the village of Chamiza we will take the route to village Correntoso where we will head to the Alerce Andino National Park, one of the parks from North Patagonia. Once we arrive to the entrance of the park, our expert guide will introduce you to the flora and fauna you will discover on your hike. We will pass the waterfall of the Chaica River, where different species of the native forest can be seen like the very ancient Alerce trees, which are growing very slowly aver 3,000 years. At the end of the hiking trail, we will reach the Chaiquenes Lagoon. After that, we will enjoy a delicious box lunch before we take our path back to where our transfer will bring us back to our lodging.

Trekking is 4-6 hour approximately.
