Enjoy a beautiful drive following the shores of Lake Llanquihue with a total of 210 km, one of the largest lakes in South America and noted for its scenic beauty as well as panoramic views of the Osorno, Calbuco, Puntiagudo and Tronador volcanoes, from different angles throughout our tour, visiting the towns located along the lake. We will start at the city of Puerto Varas and continue in the direction of the town of Ensenada heading to visit the Petrohue waterfalls. We will continue towards the town of Las Cascadas for a short walk of about 1 hour to visit a powerfull waterfall between the native forests at the foot of the Osorno Volcano. We will continue to the town of Puerto Octay, this town particularly stands out for its architecture Germanic type predominantly due to the German colonization, like the towns of Frutillar and Puerto Varas. We will visit one of its most prominent and popular family vacation beaches, Playa Centinela , where we can relax and enjoy a small picnic weather permitted. Then we will head towards Frutillar, on the path that follows the shore of the lake, cruising by rustic farms and old houses. We will stop in Frutillar and visit the historic German Museum. Depending on how you feel we can enjoy the typical foods from Frutillar, at on of the quant cafes (not included). This will be the last stop on our journey and we will head back to Puerto Varas.
